International Projects
Safitel’s global and regional collaborative partnership ecosystem is derived from Chad’s geographic location. Bordering six countries with direct access borders and an additional four countries through the bordering ones.
Most of the required services are transit as far as Internet services demand is located in the Asian market where supply is seeking reaching from USA and Europe, especially the content that requires direct end-users available in Asia. Africa becomes the bridge between the two poles and works as a mediator to link these poles. Therefore, taking over this role requires meeting the standards set by supply to deliver demand.
Our investment and viability check depend on our engagement with the supply side to know their intended standards and destination to secure the required links. Our objective is to set Chad as a terrestrial hub in Central Africa. This objective can be achieved through a mesh network, that we are now developing, to reach different directions.
The map indicates the ongoing projects that link Chad to the different submarine cables in the Red Sea, Mediterranean, Indian Ocean, and Atlantic Ocean.
